The ninth game in the GTA series and originally released on the PSP in 2005 and re-released for PlayStation 2 in 2006, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is a prequel to Grand Theft Auto 3 in which players return to Liberty City, the town where all the rules were broken as Grand Theft Auto 3 revolutionized gaming and made the GTA series the biggest franchise on the planet. Within these stories the streets are in turmoil. Warring Mafiosi vie for control as the town begins to self-destruct under waves of political corruption, organized crime, drugs trafficking and union strikes. No one can be trusted as Toni and you attempt to clean up the mess of the city's chaotic underworld. The game features the famous sandbox styled nonlinear gameplay of the GTA series, as well as multiple NPCs, vehicles and weapons, independent storylines and a wealth of in-game radio stations accessible from vehicles.

The tenth game in the Grand Theft Auto series, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories was originally released on the PSP in 2006, and then PlayStation 2 in 2007. Like Liberty City Stories before it, it is a singleplayer prequel; this time to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. The game has all the functionality that GTA fans crave: open nonlinear gameplay with plenty of optional side missions, multiple ways to interact with NPCs, as well as a wide variety of available weapons, vehicles and radio stations. In addition, it also features extra in-game content not seen in the PSP version.
